Allagash is the Grandaddy of craft beer in Maine. Their Allagash White has been a favorite on draft lines around the world for a long time, but they’ve made a big name for themselves with their experimental stuff. They’re on the Industrial Way which has a famous cluster of breweries – Definitive (also dog friendly inside and out), Foundation, Austin Street, and Battery Steele. Park once and visit each of them which are all dog friendly outside at the very least.
Allagash has the best outdoor space of the bunch. There is great food onside, but you can also bring your own. Dogs are, unfortunately, not allowed inside. But outside is great! There are a number of great spots to site – from tucked away booths to bistro tables in the center of the action. So you can choose what works best for you and your pup.
Pro tip: If you’re traveling solo, this is a great spot as there are two outdoor bars. You don’t need to worry about leaving your pup when you grab the next round.
