NYC – Parks and Barks

My humans needed to make a quick trip to New York City and they brought me with them! I rode the subway (which I’m very comfortable with, since I use the Boston subway several times per week), played in some of the coolest dog parks, at some new treats, and explored Manhattan and Brooklyn. Of course, my parents also stopped at a couple of breweries.

A couple of highlights:

  • Madison Square Park has the coolest dog parks. There are two separate sections for big and small dogs, a stream of running water through the middle, a clean turf surface, and little hills to climb. Lots of friendly dogs and people! Plus, the original Shake Shack is right next door.
  • Main Street Park in Brooklyn has big grass spaces and amazing city views!
  • People on the subway can’t resist a little weenie – I made a lot of friends!
  • Restaurants and businesses in general are a bit more dog friendly than Boston. They’re generally allowed to set their own rules re: dogs, so just check their website or reach out. You may be able to bring your pup inside!
