I hit a milestone a few weeks ago – 50 breweries visited. To be clear, I don’t mean 50 brewery visits. I’ve been to many breweries more than once. I mean I’ve visited 50 different breweries. I’m a certified brewery pro!
The “official” 50th brewery was Origin Beer Project in Providence. An awesome, tiny little brewery in Providence’s West End (across the street from Moniker). They do not allow dogs inside, but they have a cute little dog-friendly patio space with heaters which was perfect on an unseasonably warm February night. The beers are outstanding.
This was my second stop of the night. The first was my 49th brewery – The Guild in Pawtucket. The Guild is big, and super dog friendly indoors. We were actually there for a dog event.
Now that we’ve moved and are settling in, we’re starting to get back into the routine of going to breweries on the weekend. And as a seasoned professional, I’m settling back in perfectly. As much as my dad is embarrassed to admit it, my Strolee stroller has become something of an indispensable accessory. It’s the perfect height when my humans are sitting at a table, so I’m not stuck on the floor. And the cup holder and storage space makes it easy to lug my belongings.
Since crossing the “50” barrier, I’ve added two more to the list. Vigilant in Bristol, RI and Rejects Beer Co. in Middletown. Both dog friendly indoors which is great for these colder months. Spring can’t come soon enough – I can’t wait to add to the list!
Pro tip – Origin is just across the street from Moniker which is dog friendly indoors. Combine the two for a great outing!
