What's Brewing, Barley?

This is a special brewery for us because it’s where my humans held their wedding shower!

It’s a very dog-friendly spot. Pups are allowed inside and out, and several of the staff actually train dogs. You’ll see plenty of dogs in the taproom on your visit. The beer is very good too – they also have seltzers if you’re looking for something lighter.

The location is great. There’s a ton of free parking across several lots as well as grassy pathways when your pup needs a bathroom break or some exercise. Break Rock is located in Marina Bay, right along the boardwalk. So the views of the marina and Boston Harbor are excellent.

Pro tip: Break Rock has rotating food vendors and a pizza place right next door. But you can bring your own food, and we recommend taking advantage of Quincy’s many amazing, authentic Asian restaurants. We highly recommend Rubato (fried chicken bolo and beef brisket baos for the win).
