Far From The Tree had been on my mom’s list for a while, and we finally made it in June! They’re dog friendly on their fenced-in patio which has a gated entrance from the parking lot (small parking lot, street parking nearby). There are several umbrellas, chairs, and tables as well as a neat seating area around a small apple tree in the center of the patio. It’s not a huge space, but it’s comfortable and nicely appointed (it feels very separated from the street nearby).
The cider is excellent! They have a ton of variety appealing to most palates. It’s another location that is primarily bring-your-own-food, so plan accordingly!
Pro tip: We grabbed sandwiches from Flip The Bird in Sawmpscott which is less than 10 minutes away. They’re some of the better chicken sandwiches we’ve had.
